Billy Greenwood is a SICO (senior in credits only) at Truman
State University. After spending a year and a half at the University of Kansas
as a Political Science major, he transferred to Truman State University to pursue
a degree in Public Communication. Up until his senior year of high school he
had no desire to get involved in politics, but then he watched The West Wing
and had an instant change of heart. Now his interests lean towards working in public
relations and outreach, either in the government or in the private sector.
Lizzie Marshall is a junior studying communication at Truman State
University. She and her classmate Billy Greenwood are beginning a
semester long assignment for their political communication class. Lizzie
first became enthusiastic about politics when her AP Government teacher
in high school showed her class too many Saturday Night Live clips
about the 2008 election. When not blogging, Lizzie enjoys reading CNN
constantly and catching up on all the latest major league baseball news.
