Ratings:

What is what?
What do your ratings mean, you ask? Well we try to keep it as simple as possible here at MO Truth, MO Lies, and have provided three ratings an advertisement can be given. It ranges from Truthful to Middle of the Road to Liar. We justify our ratings at the bottom of each post, so please be sure to look there!

Breaking it down:
This report card, of sorts, is here to help you readers find out at a quick glance who has been telling the most truths, and who has been found wanting on their advertisements.

Truthful means that the candidate did not lie at all, or if they did, it won't effect the outcome of the advertisement. Advertisements that either tell the whole truth, or are so miniscule in their lies will land here.

Middle of the Road means that the candidate's ad was full of half truths. A good example of this would be if the candidate talked about two specific issues, and truthfully posted their position on one of those, while flat out fibbed on the other. We also will occasionally put ads here that had one side out weigh the other (more truths than lies, or vice versa) depending on if we feel dirty sticking it in truthful or liar

Liar means that the candidate did not tell the truth by any stretch of the imagination. As well, we will put in advertisements here that were so full of lies despite having some truthful statements. Things like poor logic will often land an advertisement here, as we find that as hurtful as a flat out lie.

We hope this helps you understand our rating system! Please comment with any concerns you might have.
